Has the internet content tipping point arrived?

For internet content to be mainstream, it will require two important things:
A way to make money and someone with enough “star-power” to bring in the audiences.
This Tuesday, Simon Fuller (of American Idol fame) will debut his new internet show called “If I Can Dream” on Hulu.com. Maybe this is the turning point after which internet shows stop being the red-headed step child of TV and get some respect…at least as much respect as any reality show can get.
